Ronaldo & Martinez out: Man United probable starting XI line-up against Man City this weekend

Erik ten Hag led Manchester United team started the new English Premier League campaign on a very poor note as they suffered a back-to-back defeats after their league opener ended in a disappointing two goals to one defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion, and their second game in a humiliating four goals to nil.

The Red Devils after their two consecutive winless streaks will be facing another real test of time in the match day 3 of the new season when they will be playing against Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool team at the Old Trafford.

Manchester United in the game to be played this Monday will be hoping to get their campaign back on track by getting a win against the struggling Liverpool side, who are also yet to get a win in their first two games which ended all in draw against Fulham and Crystal Palace respectively.

Manchester United knowing fully well that a win for them would placed them ahead of their fierce rival with the both sides currently sitting at the 12th and 20th position respectively, would be willing to start a potential strong starting XI as suggested below without Cristiano Ronaldo who is still surrounded with speculations to force his move away from the club this summer as well as Lisandro Martinez who is just getting used to the system.

David de Gea is expected to start in between the stick having established himself as the preferred number one choice of goalkeeper in the team with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire pairing as the central defenders, alongside Aaron Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw playing at the right-back and left-back position respectively to complete the four-man defence line.

The midfield duo of Donny van de Beek and Fred Rodriguez could paired at the heart of the centre-field with the trio of Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford playing upfront behind Anthony Martial who could be the hitman at the attacking force.
