Manchester United's Probable Starting XI If Cody Gakpo & Adrien Rabiot join this summer


Manchester United are desperately looking to add to their squad before the close of the summer transfer window.

Recent reports have claimed that a deal is been worked on for Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, with Man United technical director, John Murtough reported to have boarded a plane to meet with the Frenchman's entourage in an effort discuss personal terms & other details.

While PSV Eindhoven winger, Cody Gakpo has also been linked as a possible alternative to Ajax's Antony, who the Eredivisie Champions have placed a high price tag on to stave away interest from Erik Ten Hag's United.

However, some club fans don't like the idea of Adrien Rabiot playing for the club due to his past history & his poor statistics,

But the France international will provide the Manchester based outfit with more depth in midfield & encourage competition for starting berth in the starting eleven.

While Netherlands international, Gakpo is said to be admired by the Dutch tactician & his also representative by Ten Hag's agency,
The 23-year-old will provide with more options on the right side of attack & is reported to be available for £35 million, which isn't to expensive for player of his calibre.

Despite his poor start to the season, David De Gea is expected to hold on to the number spot, with Harry Maguire & Lisandro Martinez expected to start as the defensive combination in the heart of defence.

Malacia & Diogo Dalot are expected to occupy the positions on left & right side of defence.

In the Middle, Adrien Rabiot is likely to be paired alongside Scotland international, Scott McTominay, both midfielders will be tasked with the duty of providing stability in the middle.

Bruno Fernandes will play in a more advanced role while Gakpo, Rashford & Jadon Sancho will form a dangerous attacking trio.
