With a reliable 4-3-3 formation and possible transfer of the Barcelona midfielder, De jong, Erik ten Hag might consider using De Gea as his keeper, and the combination of Malacia, Martinez, Varane, and Wan Bissaka in the defensive line. Eriksen, De Jong, and Fernandes in the midfield, followed by the combination of Rashford, Ronaldo, and Sancho in the attacking wings.

If Manchester United finally secures De Jong to Old Trafford this summer, he would likely make a good combination alongside Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.
