Tyrell Malacia.
Erik ten Hag's first signature of the summer, Tyrell Malacia was signed at the last minute by the Ex-Ajax head coach.
The 20-time English Champions stepped in, swiftly reached an agreement & finalised the deal.
It didn't turn out too terribly for the Ligue 1 club, they were able to land Nicolas Tagliafico from Eredivisie Champions, Ajax.
Jules Kounde
Similar to the acquisition of Raphinha, the France international stated publicly that he wanted to leave Sevilla, which opened the door for other teams to table their offers & test the Spanish side resolve.
However, it came down to only two top clubs, Chelsea & Barcelona who registered their interest in the French center-back.
Once more, the Blues came very close to signing the 23-year-old; they even reached an agreement, but, according to Sevilla director Monchi, the Former European Champions withdrew at the last minute.
Which gave the Blaugrana a free run at Jules Kounde, they urged him to wait while they look for the financial means to pay his transfer fee, they eventually did so and acquired the defender.
Bremer
Due to Inter's hesitation and inaction, the Bianconeri were able to swoop in and sign him. Inter had missed their chance to do so because they were still undecided on the deal.
The Italian heavyweights lost Dutch center-back, Matthijs de Ligt to German Champions, Bayern Munich but made a big statement by signing the Brazil international, who was crowned Serie A's best defender for the 21/22 campaign.
Raphinha
Raphinha had a lot of suitors during the previous campaign, but Barcelona & Chelsea battled it out for his services this summer.
Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea were in line to land the highly-rated winger at one stage, but the Blaugrana on the other hand were scrambling to work out a deal despite their financial difficulties.
