EPL: Why I Fought With Conte After 2-2 Draw With Tottenham – Tuchel

After Sunday's 2-2 draw between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel has explained his altercation with Antonio Conte. Emile Hojbjerg's equalizer for Spurs canceled out Kalidou Koulibaly's opening goal, and the two men nearly exchanged blows. Both managers had to be separated as Tuchel firmly grasped Conte's hand and yelled expletives.

Tuchel has now said that he desired the Italian to stare into each other's eyes during their handshake. They both have different opinions so it was emotional. The referee gave both of them red cards. Tuchel said that the red card wasn't necessary and the referee made a poor decision in the match.

Chelsea coach added that he was happy when Tottenham equalized and it got a bit heated but nothing big. They are emotional coaches, and that's the game. That's why it's called the Premier League.
