EPL GRANDFATHERs: See Three (3) Current Premier League Players Who Are Above Age 36



1. Thiago Silva (37 years old):

Brazilian defender Thiago Silva plays for Premier League side Chelsea, having joined from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in 2020. He has made 55 Premier League appearances for Chelsea so far and has been very instrumental to some of the club's successes.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (37 years old):

The Portuguese star joined Premier League side Manchester United from Serie A side Juventus for a second stint in 2021. He had previously spent six years at Manchester United- from 2003 to 2009.

3. Willy Caballero (40 years old):

Willy Caballero is currently the oldest player in the Premier League. The Argentine shot-stopper joined Southampton from Chelsea in 2021, having previously spent four years at Stamford Bridge. So far, he has made two Premier League appearances for Southampton.

Besides Chelsea and Southampton, Caballero also played in the Premier League for Manchester City between 2014 and 2017.
