Manchester United failed to secure all three points in their first Premier League game of the season as they lost 2-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
A brace from German winger Pascal Gross gave the Seagulls the deserved win over the Red Devils. This is their first win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in their club's history.
After the game, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reveals why his team lost and also spoke about Cristiano Ronaldo's performance against the Seagulls.
When asked about if Ronaldo had the impact that he desired he said, "It's clear to see the second half we were better in midfield, with Eriksen down and Ronaldo up."
He went on to speak about how the team got better in the second half and he said, “The reaction in the second half we are acting as one team."
