Chelsea are rebuilding the team and several players will have to take the exit door in other to make room for more mega signings at the club.
However, German forward, Timo Werner has now left Chelsea to return back to his former club, RB Leipzig for a fee of around €20m + add ons in a five year deal.
He is not a new face at the German club as Timo Werner already stormed for RB Leipzig from 2016 to 2020 and scored a total of 95 goals in 159 compulsory games during this time and is the clubs highest goal scorer.
He holds, among other things, the best score for most Bundesliga goals (78) and most league goals in a season (28, season 2019/20).
During his time at Chelsea, he has won several trophies such as Champions League, Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup.
In 2021, the goal scorer also became UEFA Super Cup winner and FIFA Club World Champion with the "Blues." Timo Werner played 89 compulsory games for Chelsea in total, scored 23 goals and scored another 21 goals.
