Four Clubs With The Longest Unbeaten Run In The History Of Premier League


Unbeaten run is something not every club can do but with the caliber of clubs in the Premier League, they are only four clubs who have been able to attain that height.

However, most football fans are aware of only the unbeaten run done by Arsenal but little did they know some clubs have also gone unbeaten in the Premier League.

First on the list is Arsenal. The Gunners are the first to reach that height and also hold the highest number of unbeaten runs in the Premier League (49 games unbeaten). Their unbeaten run lasted from May 7, 2003 - October 16, 2004. They were about to hit 50 games unbeaten before they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United.

Next to come close to Arsenal are Liverpool. They were Almost going to break Arsenal’s record but stopped at 44. Their unbeaten run lasted from January 12, 2019 - February 24, 2020. Their unbeaten run was ended by Watford as they lost 3-0. 

Third team to go unbeaten in the league is Chelsea. The blues had a good 40 games unbeaten run from October 23, 2004 - October 29, 2005. Their unbeaten run was ended by Manchester United at Old Trafford as Darren Fletcher scored the only goal. The Blues ended up winning the EPL that season.

Arsenal also did an unbeaten run but this time, it was just 30. It lasted from December 23, 2001 - October 6, 2002.

The fourth Premier League to go unbeaten is Manchester City. The Cityzens went on a 30 match unbeaten run which spanned from April 4, 2017 - January 2, 2018.
