Manchester United started the new English Premier League season on a bad note as they lost 2-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
A brace from Pascal Gross gave the Seagulls the lead in the first half and a own goal in the second half for Manchester United ended the game in a loss for the Red Devils.
Here are the three players to blame in Manchester United's loss against Brighton.
1 Marcus Rashford:
The England international had a poor outing against the Seagulls. He missed two clear chances in front of goal that could have put Manchester United back in the game.
2 Harry Maguire
The English defender continue his poor run of form for the Red Devils as he was caught out of position on numerous occasions.
3 Scott McTominay
The Scottish midfielder was arguably United's worst player on the pitch. He made a lot of mistakes in the midfield alongside Fred before he was subbed off in the second half.
