Transfer News: Done Deals, Ten Hag changes mind on Antony, Liverpool interested in Chukwuemeka

Ten Hag changes mind on Antony

Manchester United will still pursue Antony this summer even if Cristiano Ronaldo stays, according to reports. It had been claimed previously that United would only go after Antony if Ronaldo were to leave in this window.

The Brazilian winger has been linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer. Erik ten Hag has already returned to sign one Ajax player.

Liverpool interested in Chukwuemeka

The Aston Villa player is reportedly on Klopp's radar as he looks to bolster his midfield for next season. According to The Daily Mirror, the Reds are looking to follow the same formula as Fabio Carvalho by snapping up the 18-year-old before the end of the transfer window.

Faced with the possibility of a move to Barcelona and Liverpool, Aston Villa have decided to name their price of 23 million euros.

Leicester only landed Boubakary Soumare last summer from Lille for £17m, but apparently he’s not part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans any longer.

Palace and West Ham both in talks over Dwight McNeil transfer

Here’s a new one for the day: Dwight McNeil could be heading for a Burnley exit, following the likes of Ben Mee, James Tarkowski and Wout Weghorst out the door of the relegated club.

Sky Sports are reporting talks between the Clarets and two interested parties: West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Rangers have confirmed that Calvin Bassey has left the club to join Ajax in a club-record deal.

The defender had interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Brighton, but the lure of Champions League football proved to be too much.

The Dutch champions have confirmed they are paying £22.6m for the Nigerian defender and he has penned a contract until June 2027.

Roma has completed the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

The Argentinian international was linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea after leaving Juventus at the end of the season.

Dybala has signed a three-year contract with Roma.
