According to information from MARCA's Jose Felix Diaz, the French defender is set to close the deal with Chelsea this afternoon. According to British media the deal between the Blues and Sevilla is said to be worth 55 million euros. Only the medical tests are pending.

Crystal Palace and West Ham have opened talks with Burnley over the signing of Dwight McNeil.
Sky Sports News report that the Clarets want a fee in excess of £15m for the winger.
McNeil struggled for Burnley last year and managed just one goal contribution from 38 league games, but he is only 22 and has shown promise in previous seasons.

Saliba on Barcelona shortlist
Barcelona could turn to Arsenal defender William Saliba if they fail to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
The centre-back, who returned to the Emirates this summer after spending most of the past three seasons out on loan, has been promised first-team opportunities by Mikel Arteta, but reports from Spain - as cited by Sport Witness - say that Saliba is one of Barcelona's backup options.
