1. Romelu Lukaku - Romelu Lukaku transfer from Inter Milan to Chelsea during the 2021 transfer window, currently ranked as the worst signing ever made in the premier league tournament. Chelsea reportedly paid the sum of £97M for the signature of the talented Belgian Striker.
2. Angel Di Maria - Manchester United signed Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid for a club record of £60M during the 2014 transfer window. Angel Di Maria took over the famous number 7 jersey at Manchester United, as he was hoping to fill the space left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Argentine winger however, did not live up to expectations and was sold to French club Paris Saint German.
3. Alexis Sanchez - Manchester United during the 2018 transfer window, swapped Alexis Sanchez with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and also paid some bonuses to Arsenal. Sanchez also took the famous number 7 jersey and his time at Manchester United was cut short due to his poor performances in his first full season at the club.
