Chelsea finally agreed £50m deal to sign EPL attacker
Chelsea have finally agreed a deal to sign England and Manchester city attacker Raheem Sterling on a six year deal in the summer transfer window, according to the Sun. However, the 27-year-old England international will join the Blues in a deal worth £47.5 million fee, with no further add-ons, the Athletic also understands.
The Manchester city forward is impressed with Thomas Tuchel, the manager at Stamford Bridge, and he could soon join the London club’s pre-season tour ahead of the new campaign.
Sterling has scored 131 goals in 339 appearances for seven years with the reigning Premier League champions.
Finally, Raheem Sterling joined Manchester City from Liverpool for an initial £44 million in July 2015 and has gone on to win four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and three League Cups.
Martinez wants Man United move
According to The Mirror, Argentina defender Lisandro Martinez could force his way out of Ajax in the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old Ajax defender is set to down tools as he awaits Manchester United to agree a deal with his current club.
However, Manchester United are still pushing to sign Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona, while the Red Devils are yet to hold talks with Ajax over their winger Antony, and RB Leipzig forward Brian Brobbey could instead replace Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo want out of Manchester United due to lack of Champions league. They superstar is yet to report to pre-seasion due to family issues.
