A five-year contract worth €7 million (£6 million) each campaign has been offered to the highly-rated winger by the London based outfit, according to reports
Personal terms between Raphinha & the West Londoners must be agreed upon, in other for the move to materialise without any issues.
However, who stands to gain & lose from the deal, if Raphinha moves to Stamford Bridge?
Winners
> Raphinha
Well, Raphinha is obviously the first beneficiary of the move. Since moving to Yorkshire, the Brazilian has been a star for Leeds, and now he will finally have the chance to prove himself at a top club.
At Rennes, he shown genuine promising signs, and they persisted at Elland Road, but now comes the big test.
Without a doubt, playing in the Champions League will be a goal fulfilled, and he'll be a member of a group that can fight for titles on four different fronts.
Although it may take some time to adapt & be the main guy, But Ex-Sporting Lisbon Star will gain a lot from the move.
> Daniel James
Raphinha's departure will finally give Daniel James the opportunity to play regularly for the Whites as a winger.
Raphinha and Jack Harrison's performance and Patrick Bamford's injury issues allowed James to play a significant amount of minutes in the middle of the season.
That isn't a good fit for his skill set, and now that Raphinha has moved on, he can easily fill the role the Brazilian occupied.
The Ex-Manchester United attacker will have the chance to flourish off the right because new acquisition Brendon Aaronson is likely to play behind a no.9 rather than as a straight replacement for highly-rated Brazilian.> Todd Boehly
New Owner, Todd Boehly hasn't brought in the new players he promised Chelsea supporters so far this summer. This transfer window, Tuchel was meant to have access to a "war-chest," but that hasn't materialise yet.
Raphinha, on the other hand, is a statement signing that indicates the American billionaire's ambitions with Chelsea.
Losers
> Ousmane Dembele
Ousmane Dembele won't be reunited with Thomas Tuchel as a result of Raphinha's switch from Leeds to Chelsea.
Due to the abundance of alternatives at the Blues including the probable signing of Raheem Sterling, and the fact that Raphinha and Dembele both excel at playing off the right flank, there won't be space for the French World Cup Winner.
Of course, he might continue to thrive at Camp Nou, but this almost certainly rules out a transfer to Stamford Bridge. This summer won't see the realization of the chance to play again under the German tactician.
> Jesse Marsch
While James will gain from his teammate leaving, his manager most definitely won't. Staying up will be more difficult without Raphinha than it was with him because Leeds barely managed to survive on the last day of the previous season, despite his brilliance.
> Hakim Ziyech
During the 21/22 campaign, Chelsea had alot of attackers; so, by bringing in Raphinha, someone must be shown the exit door
Hakim Ziyech, a player who is quite comparable to the Samba winger & the one who is most likely to depart. They are both left-footed attackers, who loves creating chances.
There will only be room for one player in the team, and it appears that the Ex-Ajax playmaker will be offloaded probably to italian Champions, AC Milan.
