Fabrizio Romano confirms the final price Man United will have to pay for Frenkie De Jong

Spanish giants, Barcelona aren't budging on their asking price for Frenkie de Jong.

The Netherlands international has been the Manchester based outfit primary target this summer, with Ex-Ajax head coach, Erik ten Hag eager to reunite with his old player.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the Blaugrana are asking for the entire transfer fee of €86 million and aren't willing to lower their demands.

This comes as a result of La Liga's strict financial regulations, which limit Barcelona from using all the funds on player acquisitions.

According to the Spanish radio station Radio Estado Noche, the two clubs' valuations for the highly-rated midfielder are still €15 million apart.

According to Rob Dawson, The Red Devils have a budget of in the range of £100 million and £150 million (ESPN).

If United manages to overspend for De Jong, given that the Dutch tactician is eager to recruit five players this window, they may find themselves in trouble.

Despite being a top class midfielder, the Dutchman can't resolve all of United's problems on his own.

The Old Trafford club could also consider bolstering their defensive midfield, center back, right flank, right back & left back areas.
